Our newly appointed authorized distributor, Hollabaugh Mountain, completed the installation of three Eco-King DHW-499 units, working in conjunction with a 1,500-US-gallon storage tank. Together, the system provides a dependable supply of domestic hot water for the building's residents.
The project was a retrofit following the failure of the heat exchanger in the building's existing floor-bolted boiler. Rather than simply replacing the failed component, the project provided an opportunity to install a new domestic hot-water system designed around Eco-King's commercial equipment. And this was Hollabaugh Mountain's first Eco-King installation.
The installation went remarkably smoothly. The three DHW-499 units fit the available space perfectly, making the retrofit much easier for the installation team.
For a 60-unit building, maintaining a consistent supply of hot water isn't just about comfort. It means having equipment capable of meeting the daily demands of many residents, morning showers, kitchens, laundry and other household uses, while working reliably day after day.
That's where properly sized commercial water-heating equipment and adequate storage can make an important difference.
The 1,500-US-gallon storage tank provides a substantial hot-water reserve, while the three Eco-King DHW-499 units work together to heat the water and help meet the building's demand.
We're looking forward to seeing what comes next—and hopefully, this is just the first of many Eco-King installations for Hollabaugh Mountain throughout Oregon and the surrounding region.
